Modern Mountain Living

This project was a true ground-up design, allowing our team to thoughtfully shape every detail from the earliest stages of construction through the final styling. Inspired by the warmth and character of mountain homes, the design blends rustic materials with clean, modern elements to create a space that feels both elevated and comfortable.

Natural textures and handcrafted details play a central role throughout the home. A custom kitchen island, built from reclaimed barn wood, anchors the heart of the space and adds a sense of history and authenticity. In the main living area, a custom-sourced tree post from North Carolina brings a striking architectural element that connects the home to the natural inspiration behind the design.

The layout was intentionally created with family life in mind. Open gathering spaces, layered materials, and warm finishes work together to create an atmosphere that feels welcoming, functional, and easy to live in.

Outside, the design continues with a backyard retreat meant for relaxing and entertaining — an extension of the home's warm, inviting feel.
